12 KvK Tips in Rise of Kingdoms to Avoid Mistakes
1. Use Quick Command to Avoid Accidental Attacks
The Quick Command feature allows players to move and attack quickly without accidentally targeting unwanted objects (such as cities, ally flags, or enemy structures). Activate and customize Quick Command to accurately control your attack targets.
2. Enable Filter Mode for Optimal Visibility
Filter Mode lets players remove unnecessary elements on the map, reducing clutter in large battles. You should only display enemy troops and important map markers.
3. Set Up Your Army Presets Before KvK
Before entering KvK, make sure you have preset your armies in order from slowest to fastest. This helps optimize movement speed when deploying troops in battles.
4. Always Use a 50% Army Expansion
A 50% Army Expansion significantly increases your combat effectiveness, even if you only play for 1-2 hours. Buy this feature from the Merchant and combine it with a 10% attack or defense buff to maximize battle efficiency.
5. Fight in Dot Mode
Dot Mode helps reduce battlefield clutter and increases targeting efficiency by allowing you to attack the closest enemy. Combine this with Quick Command to prevent misclicks in battle.
6. Keep Your City on Alliance Territory
To avoid unexpected attacks, always keep your city on your alliance’s territory instead of coalition or neutral zones.
7. Do Not Reinforce Flags from Far Away
Only reinforce when you are close to the flag or rally to avoid wasting travel time.
8. Manage Swarming of Flags and Rallies
Only players with over 100 million power should swarm flags or rallies. Retreat your troops when they become too damaged to avoid unnecessary losses.
9. Withdraw Weak Troops from Garrisons
If your troop count in a flag or pass falls below 1% of the total capacity, withdraw them to make space for stronger reinforcements.
10. Use Suitable Commanders for Reinforcement
When reinforcing rallies or garrisons, use commanders with good march speed and troop capacity, such as Caesar or Ethelfled, instead of meta commanders.
11. Block Enemy Reinforcements
Move your troops directly onto an enemy flag or city to make it harder for them to reinforce their structures. This forces them to manually join through the war menu.
12. Preserve Your Troops in Zone 5
Do not exhaust all your troops in Zone 5. Save your forces for Kingsland to ensure victory in the final phase of KvK.
We hope these tips help you achieve success in your next KvK!
